Here’s an mp3 of the opening track from Earl’s 2006 album, Country Music Jukebox (KBR).

Country Music Jukebox is a collection of 12 of Earl’s saddest country love songs, propped up on creaky old barstools, drinking hard-luck shots of yesterday and why-why-why. Performed and recorded live in the studio, the album is mostly Earl and his acoustic guitar, with a few sparse overdubs and some sweet harmonies by Pennsylvania-based singer Jessie Yamas.
“Just filled with good songs.” —David Dye, host of the nationally syndicated NPR program World Cafe.
And here’s a song from Earl’s 5-song, 2006 ep, When Earl Was 17 It Was a Very Good Year (KBR).

When Earl Was 17… features five songs Earl wrote when he was 17, and finally recorded 17 years later with a full band and the wisdom that comes with a lotta hard livin’. Okay, not that hard. Occasionally difficult livin’. Okay, pretty easy livin. But still. This ep comes with a hand-lettered, illustrated booklet painstakingly prepared by Earl. Okay, not that painstakingly. Buy-curious? Here’s a PDF of the booklet to whet your appetite. Happy reading (1.7 MB).
